This summer at All Fired Up! we are excited to continue the all ew format we started last summer with our Arts On Fire Summer Camps! We’ve expanded to now offer FOUR weeks of day and night camps- including a NEW advanced Camp- all with a camp t-shirt & cool extras! Our resident art teacher, Miss Karen, will be teaching the workshops again this summer. She is VERY EXCITED about our format & themes and is looking forward to expanding your child’s creativity with new art techniques & concepts. This year Miss Karen has planned projects that are inspired by famous artists, pop culture, and children’s books! We recommend that kids wear old clothes for all projects that are not glass or pottery painting. Pre-registration is also recommended as our workshops have become very popular & have been selling out quickly. A NON-REFUNDABLE $50.00 deposit per child per day/night camp week is due at the time of pre-registration.

PARKS & REC DAY CAMP: MON., JULY 22ND – THURS., JULY 25TH (10AM- NOON) We’ll spend the week on various virtual vacations dabbling in all of the things you do in the summer except being bored! Get away with our Happy Camper Bank & Camp-site (bisque & multimedia), catch some rays with our Sunny Days Bird Feeder (hand-built clay), roam the parks on your own custom made Painted Penny Skateboard (acrylics), or just hang out in the yard & listen to the Sound of Summer Wind Chimes (glass-fusing). TOT TIME! THE HANDS-DOWN BEST PRESCHOOL CAMP: MON., JULY 29TH – THURS., AUGUST 1ST (10AM- NOON) Maybe a little young for our other weeklong camps, but love art? Our Tot Time Camp is perfect! This camp is specially geared for toddlers through Kindergarten. Older siblings & story time fans are welcome as campers. Parents can drop & run or stay & play. Projects are all based on classic picture books like “Should I Share My Ice Cream?” by Mo Willems & “The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn. We’ll be reading a different one each day and doing an accompanying project. Projects include the Handy Trivet (glass fusing), I Scream For Ice Cream (clay), Pineapple Printing (bisque), the You Are My Sunshine Clock (Board Art), and a camp t-shirt. Sketchbook included. LLAMA-RAMA DAY CAMP: MON., AUGUST 5TH – THURS., AUGUST 8TH (10AM- NOON) Who doesn’t love llamas? They’re awesome! This week we’re going all llama, all the time. Projects include the Llovely Llama (bisque & multimedia), Llama Llife Night Llight (glass fusing), Llet’s Hang Out Llama Wall hanging (clay), Drama Llama (acrylic on board), and a themed camp t-shirt. Samples are shown with Classic llamas, but if you love a certain video game, Miss Karen will play along! Sketchbook included. The cost is $180.00 per child for the week. NEW ADVANCED CAMP! I’M A MASTERPIECE DAY CAMP: MON., AUGUST 12TH – THURS., AUGUST 15TH (10AM- NOON) This camp is specially designed for the more mature artist-camper with previous experience at All Fired Up! summer camps &/or workshops, and for kids & teens with demonstrated talent (as described by teachers, etc.). It is meant to build on previous experience. This camp goes deeper and moves at a faster, more independent pace with the most opportunity for individual creativity & decision-making. It is not recommended for children under the age of 8yrs. Lessons will center around our identity as an artist, and will involve a lot of personal choice. This session’s projects will be traditional & non-traditional takes on self-portraiture as well as the individual interests of each artist-camper. Projects include self-portraits in the styles of Roy Lichtenstein and Gustav Klimpt (acrylic on canvas & multimedia on board), an autobiographical wall pocket vase drawing inspiration from various time periods (clay), a glass fused bowl in the style of the camper’s favorite artist, and a camp t-shirt. All night camps meet from 6:30PM – 8:30 PM. Night camp is a great fit for working families, swim club families, and others that love art but are busy during the day. Projects are the same as our day-time Camps (see above). *There is no Tot Time night camp.

JUNIOR COUNSELORS: Dream of working at All Fired Up! someday, love art, and kids? Miss Karen is looking for Junior Counselors for our 4-day/night camps. Junior Counselors will help with setup, cleanup, & instruction in exchange for 30% off their own tuition for a 4-day/night camp (or comparable, pre-arranged compensation).
